I had so much fun with this family. Miss E was almost 4 weeks old when she came to see me. Her Mom had warned me that baby E has had some tummy and colic issues. But these first time parents are doing a fantastic job.

I have been photographing the N family for almost 2 years. When I met they were a new family of 3. Now they have an adorable almost 2 year old girl and they just welcomed another sweet girl. I could not wait to see her in my studio for her newborn session so I went to meet her when she just 2 days old. Her newborn session is coming soon but here is a little peek. Introducing Miss S.

I loved capturing these moments with big sister and her little sister. I also got some shots of her waving “Hello” to the new baby.

A Little Creative Math – Raleigh Maternity Photographer

One of my baby plan clients saw this photo and just had to have it for herself. We got our creative heads together and turned this into her Christmas card. In her card she is looking at the camera. Can you believe that she is 7 months pregnant here? I was having a hard time showing off her bump! She looks amazing as always!

Her second little girl is due in early March. I can’t wait!!!

We are finally moved in and settled. We have experienced so many changes since we have moved in to our new home. We moved in on a Thursday, 5 days later, I took my daughter to get registered for Kindergarten. 2 days after that she had to report for staggered entry and the next Monday, only 11 days after moving in, my baby girl started school.

The first 2 days were touch and go for her but now she loves it!

The next big event for her was getting a loose tooth. She was so excited, until she saw the blood. But after she calmed down she could not wait for the tooth fairy to come and visit. We had made a tooth fairy pillow to hang on her door but she as a little uneasy about ever being able to see her tooth again. So her tooth fairy, Miranda, left her a little tiny note with $5! A big amount because it is her first tooth. Miranda told her that she would keep her tooth in a very safe place. She was a very happy girl in the morning. Here is a snapshot of her pillow and here goodies left by Miranda including purple “fairy dust.”

Mommy is a little sad because her baby teeth are the last part of her that is still “baby.” I can already see that big girl tooth coming in. Her new smile is still adorable but I will miss all of those tiny baby teeth.

I have been photographing Miss C since she was 7 days old. It is so amazing to see how fast she has grown up. And I have enjoyed meeting and becoming friends with this family.

The weather finally allowed us a morning to get little Miss C outdoors. And that baby NEVER stopped moving. She walked, ran, and happily explored the entire time. I tried to stay 5 steps in front of her but at one point I just gave up and stopped. When she caught up to me, she reached out those little arms, put her head on my shoulder and hugged me. It made me just melt.

Here she is giving her Daddy one of those sweet hugs.

Happy Birthday sweet girl. Thank you for letting me be a part of the first year of your life. It has been an honor to watch you grow.

I can’t believe that this sweet girl is turning one. She is one of my baby plan cuties. Check out how she has grown. Newborn and at 6 months

Now she is turning one. No matter how many times I see her I fall in love with her beautiful eyes every time.

She is so girly and I felt this needed a peaches and creme finish.

Look at these eyes.

She was not too sure about the cake.

But, eventually, she got into it.

Stay tuned for her next session. We are planning an outdoor session, without messy cake. But with this horrible heat wave, we had to postponed it.

Brothers – Garner Family Photographer

The mom of these 3 brothers called me with a quick request. They were going on vacation in a week to visit family and Grandma wanted some new pictures of her Grandsons. I took just an hour off from packing up my house and met this family at a local park. It was early in the morning before the heat of the day took over. Poor guys had just gotten out of school and I was making them wake up early on summer vacation. But they did great!

The youngest. Having purple hair myself, I knew I would get along with him. I loved his frosted “Guy Fieri” hair.

I am so glad we were able to work this session in. I hope Grandma enjoyed her visit and the new portraits of her Grandsons.

Where I have been – Raleigh Photographer

I must apologize for being away from my blog for so long. Since my last post, I have been CRAZY busy.

We went on vacation to Disney World!! It was our daughter’s first visit and it was, as Disney claims it to be, MAGICAL!

The week after we returned, we got an offer on our house. It had been on the market for a long, long 19 months.

I then had a little over a month to pack, find a new home and move.

We are now living with my Dad for 3 weeks until our new home is ready. I finally have time to relax a little.

Instead of trying to catch you up on my sessions and blogs, I will finish up the last 2 sessions and restart my blogging. I also hope to blog the Disney trip in a few weeks.
