Look what I had in my studio this week. Little Miss C, only 7 days old! She was an angel!!! She did NOT want her hands touched and she is already very strong with her legs but for the most part, she was very laid back.
I love how big Daddy’s hands are.

Proud Daddy. I was very impressed with Dad. He got pooped on and never missed a step. He also was there to take care of any need that Mommy had. He says that this is Miss C’s favorite snuggle spot.

And look how stunning Mommy is!

I could have taken pictures of this family all day!!! They were a dream to work with! Gorgeous family, adorable baby girl, I love my job! Thank you N family!

Earlier this week I did Miss M’s one year photos. Then it as time to brave the heat and get some family pictures. We scheduled it for 6pm but it stayed 96 degrees the whole time. We went to the beautiful WRAL Gardens in Raleigh.
Daddy playing around between shots.

Mom and Dad just got engaged a few weeks ago. I was lucky enough to have been there and yes….he did get down on one knee!

I love how Miss M is posing in this one.

Whenever someone said “Hello” to get Miss M’s attention, she put her hand up to her ear like she was answering the phone. A very smart one year old!

Say hello to Miss M. What a little mover she is! She wanted to look and play with everything. Like any one year old, it was hard to keep her in one spot. I remember this age so well.
She was an angel during the whole shoot. I had a lot of fun with her and she is a cutie.
Just look at this adorable face!

When she was done playing with something or was just not interested in it, she would just throw it! I love her diva attitude!
I love this expression. “OK, I am teething and I am ready for my nap! Are we done yet?”

I am looking forward to seeing them again in a few days for some outdoor family portraits.

I met the W family at 9am for their family session. When we got done at 10:45, it was already 90 degrees!!! I knew it was hot but I had no idea it had gotten that hot, that fast.
Little Miss R had her own ideas of how this session would go. She is 2 and was totally in charge!! I had to stop and laugh a few times because I remember my daughter being exactly the same way.

Right now she is in “Mommy Only” mode. I told her Daddy not to worry because around 3, my daughter switched to “Everything Daddy Do.”

This was the last shot of the day and we were all hot and tired. I thought adding this “Hazy Sunshine” photo effect was appropriate.

I had the pleasure of having this handsome little guy in front of my camera lens again. Last time I saw him he was 3 months old, you can see him here.
Now he is 6 months old. With his beautiful eyes and adorable smile, I could take pictures of him all day, and I almost did! Here are just a few of this cutie.

He is teething and he spent most of the time chewing on the tie but I did capture a few shots without it in his mouth. No critiquing how the tie is tied. My husband was out of town and I had to google how to tie one!

He was so focused on tasting the cereal, I don’t think he really cared that he was sitting in a bowl. He is always such an easy baby to work with.
