Color Collage – Raleigh Photographer

I am a member of Phaunt, http://phaunt.com/, and it’s wonderful forum. Our challenge this month was color collage, based on a previous challenge by http://twophotogs.com/.

You pick a color and go and photograph it. It is that easy and crazy fun. I picked green because of the street sign I included.

I had wanted to go downtown and get a pic of the old Krispy Kreme sign but I knew if I got that close, I would have to go in and get coffee and a doughnut, or two, or three.

I am going to have to do some other colors. Pink and black, my favorite colors, might be a fun adventure! Stay tuned!

Baby J – Raleigh Newborn Photography

I was so excited to meet Baby J. His big sister and my daughter love to play together. Their birthdays are only 5 days apart.

He did not want to sleep too much but he was wonderful to work with.

Don’t Touch that DSLR challenge

I follow a blog by 2 awesome women and amazing photographers. www.twophotogs.com Their challenge this month is called Don’t Touch That DSLR. You have to take some pics with your camera phone, a point and shoot camera, Polaroid, you get the idea.

Boudior photography is popular right now and with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, Barbie wanted to do her shots in the snow! Because she is crazy like that!

We do not get very much snow here in the Raleigh area so when we do it is a real treat. This snow was mostly sleet and ice. We could not make a snowman but we were able to go sledding and have snowball fights.

Kathryn has just recently discovered Hello Kitty and when I saw these boots, I knew she had to have them!

I actually did his shoot last month but I am just now posting it since the blog just got up and running. He was born on New Year’s Eve! What a fun birthday to have.
